The Bay Area, (MI)

It was a lovely Mother day weekend here. Bob cut this floral display from our yard for me on Sunday. Being mother has been and continues to be an amazing blessing. I am so grateful for my family.

We take for granted all the interesting things about the area we live in. Since Bob is now driving to Bay City most days he has been stopped by several of the bridges that cross the Saginaw river here as runs to Lake Huron with is many ships of cargo. Last Friday as we where on our way to Andy's the bridge on Wilder was up and everything came to a stop, so I jumped out of the car to watch the ship pass through.

It was a beautiful spring day that we had spent having lunch at the Stein House on the patio with the ladies from the Cass City office. They came over to work at the new office to see their family members for dental work.

Last week I met my friend Michelle Gross for lunch prior to her move to Germany. Tom is working over there for several years and she is now a jet setter. It was so fun to catch up on all the news and hear about apartment hunting in Germany.

Took a side trip to the Material Mart in Midland last Friday and picked up some new fabric so here are before and after pics of them.

Now for the really big news. I am dog sitting for a few days and it could turn into a permanent arraignment. Here is Froto (who needs a hair cut). He is 5 yrs old and very laid back. A perfect old ladys dog. I will keep you updated a to what happens. So far he just lays on the sofa all the time.
