House Work
Oh my goodness what have we done. Well the up keep of two homes has finally gotten to us both. Especially for Bob with the yard work. So we have decided to list the house here in Cass City for sale. It is very difficult for me. I have loved and still do love this old house, but my comfort is that houses are not selling well and so I am relaxed in knowing that we will still be here for awhile. But in the mean time we do have to get the home ready for a relator's open house next week and subsequent showings. So the decluttering and major clean out has begun. If nothing else that is a good thing.
We have been here 18 years and this is primarily where my children grew up. So needless to say all the memories and childhood remnants are spread everywhere. Going through every room in the house has caused me to breakdown in tears many times. Sorting the entire attic this week and all the boxes of toys, dolls, toy farm equipment, train sets, Nintendo etc. has been tough. Stumbling upon Andy's boy scout uniform, prom pictures, bag after bag of stuffed animals, yikes. Fortunately the church is having rummage sale and we where able to donate many of the things that where reusable.
We are getting one room at a time done and it is becoming a show house slowly. I have decided that if the Lord wants it to sell it will and if not I am content to stay.
So needless to say the sewing is on hold for now. But I did get one more bag done shortly before this whole thing with the house came up so here it is. We are off the an open house this weekend for my nephew Rand and it will be nice to see family and relax for a day.
TA TA for now,
