Here is an update on things mentioned in previous posts.
The baking soda in the wash and vinegar in the rinse really works in place of softener sheets. Means using less chemicals, we like that!...(While cruising the blogs today I discovered a new thing(to me) for doing laundry. Put 1/2 c baking soda in a load of wash and it will soften the clothes without those chemical loaded sheets in the dryer, and also put 1/2c vinegar in the rinse to remove all remaining odor and static. VERY COOL.)
The no knead bread is very good and fun to make. You can also make the No Knead bread in a hurry which is the same just raise it for only 8 hours instead. I like that way. Movies I have seen lately and the reviews:
Across the Universe ...... This is the kind of movie that really deserves an Academy award. Very artistic and interesting. The music is great! Both Bob and I loved it.
Once...... A darling and movie. The music is sweet and the story charming. Bob and I both enjoyed it very much.
There will be Blood............. Historically interesting, but a dark movie that ends darkly. I liked it for the historical reasons. Bob did not finish watching it.
The other Boleyn Girl............ Just when I think I have seen everything on that period in history here comes a movie that has new information and is very well acted. I was entertained all the way and really enjoyed it. Bob was in BC so did not see it.
27 dresses....... a real chick flick. Predictable but fun if you have good popcorn and a dog curled up on my lap. Needless to say Bob was in BC and did not see this one.
The Jane Austin book club............ had to see this because I am a Jane fan and know all the books. It was a chick flick and fun. I enjoyed it very much.
Micheal Clayton...... Bob and I liked it. Kept us entertained all the way. Not a waste of time like the Oceans movies.
