Linen Blouse

This is a blouse I have had for at least 10 years. It's made from beautiful Irish Linen and because of that I just could not part with it even though it was way too big. Back in the day we all wore things a lot larger than we do now. In the 80's most everything was ill fitting and oversized. First picture is of the blouse before, note the shoulder seams hanging off the form.
And this the after. It was my goal to make this wearable today because I love the ease of a blouse, especially a fine linen. I took the arms in, moved up the shoulder seams, put pin tucking in down the front and back. All resulted in a fun blouse that can be worn over slacks or a pencil skirt. Ta Da all done for now.
